    Each mL contains: Dipropinonato imidocarb 120 mg Vehicle qs 1 mL
  • DESCRIPTION
    Biopiran® is indicated in the treatment and control of Babesiosis caused by equine and canine Babesia spp. Biopiran® can be used in situations where susceptible animals are found in Babesiosis incidence areas or in cases where infections are mixed or of unknown agent
  • DOSE
     CANINES: Via intramuscular application or subcutaneous. In case of Babesiosis, and Ehrlichiosis administer 0.5 mL per 20 kg of body weight, repeat therapy in two weeks. EQUINES: Via intramuscular application. In case of babesiosis, administer 2 mL per 100 kg of body weight. Used prophylactically, this dose will protect animals approximately 4 times weeks. When the causal agent is Theileria equi (B.equi), it will be necessary to administer a second dose 24 hours after the first.
  • WARNINGS
    Not exceed the recommended dose. Not administered intravenously. Store in a cool, dry place. Keep out of reach of children.
