  • DESCRIPTION
    The combination of lincomycin and spectinomycin has an additive effect and in some cases synergistic. Lincomycin acts as a bacteriostatic against Gram positive bacteria (Staphylococcus spp, Clostridium tetani, Clostridium Erysipelothrix rhusiopathiae perfrin-gens, and beta - hemolytic streptococci) Treponema hyodysenteriae and against, Pasteurella multocida and Mycoplasma spp. Spectinomycin is an antibiotic with a broad spectrum bacteriostatic or bactericidal action (depending on dosage) against Gram negative and Mycoplas more germs. INDICATIONS : Birds : For use in chickens up to 7 days old as auxiliary control: airsacculitis caused by Mycoplasma synoviae or Mycoplasma susceptible to spectinomycin and lincomycin mixture gallisepticum. Complicated Chronic Respiratory Disease (air sac infection) caused by Escherichia coli and Mycoplasma susceptible to spectinomycin and lincomycin mixture gallisepticum. Swine : For the prevention and treatment of swine dysentery, enteritis related Escherichia coli, mycoplasma and bacterial pneumonia, erysipelas and infectious arthritis.
  • DOSE
    Broiler and replacement pullet: Dissolve 100 g of Espectolin soluble powder per 200 liters of drinking water. Given as a single source of water during the first five to seven days old chickens. Swines : Dissolve 100 g of soluble powder Espectolin 1.000 liters of drinking water. Manage the only source of water when you notice the first signs of the disease. The duration of treatment should be five to seven days.
  • WARNINGS
     Daily discard the medicated water has not been used and replace with fresh medicated water. This product should not be used four days before slaughter of animals intended for human consumption. Keep it in a dry and fresh place; and not exposed to sunlight. Keep out of reach of children.
