  • DESCRIPTION
    INDICATIONS: LAPI-RACTO® is effective to increase the rate of weight gain, improve feed efficiency, increase the percentage of carcass yield and lean cuts finishing pigs receiving a nutritionally balanced diet. MIXING INSTRUCTIONS: All calculations in this section are made on a basis of 90% dry matter. To ensure homogeneous distribution of LAPI-RACTO®, it is recommended to prepare an intermediate premix Ractopamine which is then mixed with the other feed ingredients (Table 1). The complete pig feed must contain at least 16% crude protein. It is recommended that the range of the total final concentration of 0.9% lysine is between 1.20% when either dose (5 to 10 ppm) is used. This must be consulted and decided together with the nutritionist. For a final feed containing 5 or 10 ppm of ractopamine may continue in the recommendations given in Tables 2 and 3.
  • DOSE
    Administer orally through balanced food. The recommended LAPI-RACTO® in the final food doses are: 5 to 10 ppm to increase the rate of weight gain and improve feed efficiency, increase the percentage of channel performance and increase lean meat.
  • USE
    Swine Continuously provide, as the sole ration, complete feed containing LAPI-RACTO® to finishing pigs of not less than 75 kg, during the period in winning the last 25 kg to 35 kilos weight before slaughter. Another alternative is to offer the complete food containing LAPI-RACTO® in the last 28 days of the completion phase. In any case, they should be made adjustments nutritional levels of the feed formula.
  • WARNINGS
    The active ingredient (ractopamine), is an agonist beta-adrenergic. Individuals with cardiovascular disease should take precautions to avoid exposure. Use the appropriate and necessary equipment to safely perform mixing operations Protection: cotton cap and overalls, mask powders, or lenses for eye protection, gloves and neoprene boots. After the mixing operation, decontaminate protective equipment, bathe and put on clean clothes. WITHDRAWAL PERIOD: No need to remove this product from the food before slaughter
