  • DESCRIPTION
    ORGANISMS SENSITIVE: Lapipen is broad spectrum, since penicillin is active mainly against gram - positive bacteria and dihydrostreptomycin is active mainly against gram - negative bacteria. Its use should be evaluated in infections penicillinase producing bacteria. INTERACTIONS: The streptomycins have synergy with cephalosporins and penicillins. Incompatibility with other products: Penicillins have antagonism tetracyclines, chloramphenicol, macrolides (erythromycin, tylosin, etc.), tiamulin and lincomycin.
  • DOSE
    Shake well before and use. Apply at 1 mL per 20 kg bodyweight for deep intramuscular injection. Do not apply for intravenous, subcutaneous or near a major nerve pathway.   • WARNINGS
    Do not use in animals with a history of allergic reactions or hipersensiblilidad to penicillins or cephalosporins or analogs thereof. This product contains a corticosteroid. The use of any corticoseroide in the last third of pregnancy can induce the first stage of labor and cause premature delivery, followed by dystocia, fetal death, retained placenta and metritis. The application of corticosteroids in dogs, rabbits and pregnant rodents has produced a cleft palate. Use the product in the last third of gestation only under supervision of a Veterinarian. It has been observed elevations in serum alkaline phosphatase and transaminase enzymes glutamic pyruvic, weight loss, anorexia, polydipsia, polyuria and after application of synthetic corticosteroids in dogs. It has also been observed vomiting and diarrhea (occasionally bloody) in cats and dogs. Cushing's syndrome has been reported in dogs, associated with corticosteroid therapy. It has repotado that corticosteroids cause laminitis in horses. WITHDRAWAL PERIOD: Do not use this product 30 days before slaughter of animals intended for human consumption.
