  • DESCRIPTION
    MINOXEL contains the sodium salt of ceftiofur a broad-spectrum antibiotic belonging to the family of porin cefalos. It is active against gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, including lactamase producing strains.   • DOSE
    CATTLE: Administer cattle a dose of 1 to 2 mg ceftiofur per kilogram of body weight (1 to 2 mL of the reconstituted product per 40 kg body weight). The treatment should be repeated at 24 hour intervals for three consecutive days. Animals that do not show signs of improvement after three treatments may again be treated on days 4 and 5.
