  • DESCRIPTION
     Optimizer® is an insecticide for cattle ear tag containing diazinon, organophosphate insecticide highly active. Optimizer® is effective against horn fly resistant to pyrethroid insecticides
  • DOSE
     One earring per animal, is sufficient to control horn fly (Haematobia irritans) for up to 3 months. Apply in animals from three months of age. 1. Disinfect aretadora prior to use forceps. Place the female earring down the clip, with the wide part of Arete pointing down. 2. Place the male ear tag in the tip of the aretadora. The arete is now ready to be placed. 3. Position the earring in the middle back of the animal's ear. 4. After opening the package, try to use all the earrings or store them in the same bag sealed packaging. Remove the earring between 100 and 110 days after application, depending on the level of infestation or before slaughter.
  • USE
     Beef cattle and dairy cattle out of production to control horn fly Haematobia irritans (DípteraMuscidae), including pyrethroid resistant populations. For proper control of the horn fly, use one earring per animal, which provides protection for up to 3 months. It is recommended to remove the earring, once the period completed action or the time of infestations of horn fly.
